Herschell Gordon Lewis: The Godfather of Gore plot
An overview of the career of this pioneer of horror film in which blood and limbs played a major role, with a large number of clips from his films. This goes deeper into the early days of these cult films, which, according to Herschell Gordon Lewis, owed a lot to the moment that Sam Peckinpah received a lot of financial support in making and releasing 'The Wild Bunch'. With interviews with other cult filmmakers such as John Waters and Frank Henenlotter, but also with Lewis himself.
