Heaven on Earth plot

Branson is a rewarding haven for filmmakers. The 4,000-soul town in Missouri, with one theater for every 100 residents, is a haven for rambling entertainers, patriots, and God-fearing Americans seeking a safe life—in short, almost the perfect America director Rick Minnich has been seeking. Minnich follows some of Branson's colorful characters, such as former war pin-up Jennifer Wilson, country star Barbara Fairchild, singing and dancing prodigy Matthew Matney, and the interpreter of Christ in a pretentious musical.
