Farrebique ou Les Quatre Saisons plot
Farrebique is the name of the farm that has been owned by the same family for generations. Problems with the inheritance and the takeover by the eldest son prevent the farm from getting a necessary overhaul. Where possible, Rouquier shows the similarities between the people and the land: the cracks in the walls, the rows of soil on the plowed field and the grooves on the weathered faces.
