Erica Jong - Breaking the Wall plot

Fifty years ago, Fear of Flying, the debut of 31-year-old American Eric Jong, caused a shock wave that extended beyond just the literary world. The story of a young writer who indulges in carefree sex with a man with whom she has no love affair is now considered a feminist classic. The Dutch translation at the time was Het zipless number, after the term the zipless fuck from the book. The Swiss director Director Kaspar Kasics portrays the writer in relation to her family, friends and students, but mainly focuses on the bestseller and the consequences of its success.
