"Dying to Know" is an intimate portrait of the friendship between two complex, controversial characters and how they shaped a generation in its quest to understand consciousness. In 1960 they started as psychology professors, but after various experiments with psychedelics they went through groundbreaking changes. One was proclaimed by Nixon as America's most dangerous man and an LSD guru, the other became a spiritual leader who taught us to act from compassion. With over 50 years of archival footage and interviews, this documentary explores life, drugs and the greatest mystery of all: death.
