De Père en Fils plot

Director Philippe Ayme grew up on a farm in Drôme, France. His father decides to transfer his company to his son Régis. However, this is not a bed of roses. Trust issues, nostalgia and jealousy are prevalent in the family. Régis is busy with all the preparations and silently he hears the orders of his authoritarian father and carries them out. However, the father finds it more difficult than expected to say goodbye to his life's work. The relationship between father and son Régis deteriorates by the day and it is questionable whether Régis wants to continue the company.
