"Hoe vind je zelf dat het gaat?"

The Manager explores relationships in the modern workplace, with a focus on the role of managers. Observations of nine to twelve managers in performance reviews form the basis for the story. The unequal power relationship between managers and their staff often leads to compelling role-playing. In these, both parties play their role in a more or less expert manner. Sometimes the conversations are difficult; according to mutually accepted rules and conventions that cannot be escaped. Most things are said between the lines.
