De Lama Lamina plot

Director Barney goes into hiding in the carnival of Salvador de Bahia in Brazil. He focuses on a car that has Afro-Brazilian mythology as its theme and connects the Candomble religion with deforestation issues. This creates a synthesis of monumental trees, eco-activists, forest spirits and primal forces. All this is supported by percussion by Arto Lindsay, the Brazilian avant-garde jazz musician.
