Dad Made Dirty Movies plot

The story of Stephen C. Apostolofs (better known as AC Stephen) flees communist Bulgaria and the ensuing ramble that would eventually take him to Hollywood and to the top of the sexploitation film industry. Together with Ed Wood, he produced various 'nudie-cuties', innocent soft porn that mainly revolved around bobbing breasts or 'ticket sellers', as AC hardly used to call them politically correct. It is told by his children, his last wife and some actresses, who, despite the sexism, the low production values and the simplistic scripts of the films, recall with a certain nostalgia the time before hard porn. Apostolof's empire came to an abrupt end with the rise of explicit porn films, of which 'Deep Throat' is probably the best-known example. Contrary to what his profession might suggest, Stephen was a devout family man who refused to enter the porn industry, which meant the end of his career.
