Tretya Meshchanskaya plot
The married couple Kolia (Nikolai Batalov) and Liuda (Lyudmila Semyonova) live in a small apartment in Moscow. One day, Volodia (Vladimir Fogel), an old friend of Kolia's, arrives in town. He can't find a place to stay anywhere and Kolia invites him to stay at their house for a while. When Kolia has to leave town on a business trip, the attractive Volodia seduces the sensual Liuda. They fall in love and begin an affair. But then Kolia returns.
