Country Boys plot

A coming of age of two teenagers in one of America's poorest regions, the vast green hills of eastern Kentucky, where Jesus calls out to humanity from billboards. For five years, from 1999 to 2004, Sutherland filmed the boys' daily lives. They come from disadvantaged families and mainly rely on themselves to make something of life.
