British Sounds plot
In the opening address, a ten-minute shot of Ford's workplace, a voice reads the Communist Manifesto. This is followed by similar short scenes: including a scene in which a naked woman walks through her house supported by a feminist text; a newscaster reading a pro-capitalist text while interrupted by images that contradict the text; and a group of young protestors who are painting banners while singing Beatles songs with updated lyrics ("You say Nixon/I say Mao").
