A President to Remember plot
"An intimate portrait of JFK, the candidate, the president and the man."
In 1960, filmmaker Robert Drew began working on a documentary called Primary that dealt with that year's presidential campaign. One of the candidates, John F. Kennedy, gave Drew and his crew free access to film both their public campaign and their private strategy for the campaign sessions. Compiled from Drew's archive footage of Kennedy, the documentary shows the president both at work and with his family, providing insight into both the leader and the person behind the leader.
