"FROM A MAN IN WHITE...TO A "CON" IN STRIPES!"
The kind and beloved country doctor MacAuley is sent to Fillmore Prison. His crime was to remove a bullet from a fugitive young man he gave birth to many years earlier. In prison, MacAuley is assigned to work at the jute mill. Prison doctor Frank Norton has turned down his request to work at the prison hospital. 'Lindy' Lindstron, MacAuley's colleague at the jute mill, suddenly has a heart attack and Norton declares that he can no longer help him. But at the hands of MacAuley, Lindstrom recovers and this news spreads throughout the prison.
