The Missing Lady plot
"A Mystery Thrill-Treat from the Annals of The Shadow"
A jade figurine, the "missing lady", is stolen and its owner is killed. Lamont Cranston, aka the Shadow, is asked to find the killer. He is himself charged with the murder, because every time he gets deeper into the investigation, a suspect dies.
