The Case of the Howling Dog plot
The nervous Cartwright visits the office of the famous lawyer Perry Mason. He tells an incoherent story about a dog that keeps him awake all the time and in between asks questions about his legacy. Mason has him secretly observed during the conversation by a psychiatrist from the office, because he doubts the man's sanity. When the next day it turns out that Cartwright is missing, Mason investigates.
