Eva plot
A Welsh miner has published a book under the name of his late brother. It turns out to be a bestseller and there are plans to make it into a movie. As a high-ranking guest at the Venice festival, he meets a French call girl. He falls hopelessly in love with her, but she cleverly plays on his insecurity and bad conscience.

Class interpreter Jeanne Moreau is incorrigible as a femme fatale in a film that personally did not really appeal to me.
Sometimes a bit theatrical and fake and with a soundtrack that, apart from Billie Holiday's "Willow weep for me", was of course often loud and full of suspense and menace and not in keeping with what was happening.
