Teuflischer Engel plot

When her husband has abused Vera (Julia Stemberger) for the umpteenth time, she has had enough and she flees the house. She meets Henry (Gottfriend John), a good-natured boxer, to whom she can tell her story. She later learns that he has been jailed for manslaughter in the past when he wanted to protect a woman from the kind of treatment Vera gets from her husband, and that gives her an idea to get rid of this brute.
