Life Goes On plot

"What happens when love isn't enough and addiction becomes too much?"

Vincent and Amy. King and queen. He captains the football team and she captains the cheerleading squad. Life in their working-class neighborhood wasn't always perfect, but she made the most of it. Now, 8 years later, Amy has completed her law degree. Vince is an addicted drug dealer who finds himself in a downward spiral. Amy eventually has to issue an ultimatum: "me or the drugs." Vince decides to take the drugs and brags that he's better off without her. But now that she's gone, for good, it's starting to gnaw. Tormented by self-loathing and loneliness, Vince must take near-fatal amounts of drugs to endure the pain of a life without her. Will Vince stop the drugs and ask Amy to take him back? The next 48 hours will tell.
