Dead Canaries plot

When mobster Vito Scaldifieri is framed for the murder of a federal undercover agent, he has 2 choices: go on death row or testify before the FBI in the case against mob boss Paulie DeMartino. Although cooperating with the government is completely against his principles, he knows that it is the only way to save his life and more importantly ensure the safety of his beloved wife Sharon. After Paulie's trial, Vito and Sharon are re-identified and placed in the Witness Protection Program. What they do not know, however, is that a number of gang members have been murdered under government protection in recent months.
