Bô no Kanashimi plot

Tanaka is a yakuza who collects 'protection money' from establishments. He just got out of prison, where he spent eight years, and notices that his boss wants to get rid of him. Tanaka is not exactly the proverbial yakuza; for example, he travels by public transport. He does have two mistresses: Ayumi, who runs a nightclub, and Yoshie, a brothel keeper. When Tanaka's boss ends up in the hospital, second man Kurauchi begins to put increasing pressure on Tanaka. Tanaka is deliberately injured by a young brawler, evading some of Kurauchi's demands.
