Bian Jing Feng Yun plot
A criminal gang operating in the China-Myanmar border area is discovered by a police investigation. A chaotic shootout ensues, in which one of the gang members takes a young woman hostage and manages to escape. The hostage's father tries to make a deal to get his daughter back, but ends up in jail. In his absence, a special relationship develops between the criminal and his hostage, which has major consequences when the father is released ten years later.
