Ankokugai no Taiketsu plot

Detective Saburo Fujioka is suspected of corruption and downgraded in rank. He is sent to Kojin, a city notorious for fierce fighting between gang members. Fujioka is assigned to investigate the death of mobster Tetsuo Maruyama's wife. When Maruyama is rescued by Fujioka during a shooting, the two become friends. But Maruyama remains determined to avenge his wife, even if it means a conflict with his new friend.
