Not Dupieux's best or most sparkling film. A film in and about a play, literally. Less absurd than what I already saw, but still crazy enough to raise your eyebrows or put a grin on your face.

But if it's not for you, you'll quickly lose focus. Everything in one location, which is not easy anyway and one or more actors with long monologues. Not easy to make it entertaining. Fortunately, 64 minutes is more than enough.

For a moment I had the hope of being able to see a play within the play where that idiot's disturbance was part of the play itself, not so. The nicest elements were indeed the interactions with the audience: the man with the laptop, hilarious, but also the other banal conversations. Not bad, not great, very close to 3.0*, but could have been half a bit lower.

I'm starting to appreciate Quentin Dupieux's films more and more. This one is again wonderfully absurd and wonderfully uncomfortable. An hour is enough, but it only lasts an hour, and that's fine.

Nobody, even for Dupieux. I expected a bit more, but perhaps the anticlimax is where the power lies? Well acted and still worth seeing. Or actually it's forgettable, wait, maybe I should start this post again.

This is a film by Q Dupieux, French director with an absudist taste and style. Wait, should I fix the spelling mistakes? Oh well, just watch the movie now, in the time it takes you to read this post you could have already seen the opening! And that's more fun than this message, at least I hope. Otherwise, just say something and we can see if we can still make it a fun day for you!
