"There's a new boss in town"
One day, the men of a small Colombian village are forced to fight with the guerrillas in the civil war. Left to their own devices, the women of the village, led by Rosalba (Eva Longoria), slowly grow out of their supporting roles of wives and daughters. They unconsciously create a remarkable new society: a female utopia. When the men, led by an American reporter (Christan Slater), return and attempt to reclaim their power, a showdown between the sexes ensues with unexpected consequences.
