"A journalist and her husband, an editor, present their very different thoughts on her pregnancy in their respective columns and become a big hit with their fans."

Columnist Mike (Tim Matheson) and sportswriter Amy (Margaret Colin) are married but write for competing newspapers. Therefore, when she becomes pregnant, the resulting marital problems are fought out in bold type.
