Trois de la Marine plot

1930. After a 14-month cruise around the world, "The Indomitable" returns to Toulon. The sailors are delighted to return to port after a long absence. Antonin, Favouille and Papillote, the "Three Marines" are awaited. Papillote by Fifi, who introduced him to their son Papillon, the result of a previous invitation. Favouille by Madame Délescoube, a widow, neither young nor pretty. And Antonin by Rosette, the beautiful laundress, who hopes with all her heart that the young man will propose to her.
