"The Story of a Boy's Hunger"
Nigel Slater (Freddie Highmore) is a British food critic and writer whose book 'Toast' is about his childhood, which he remembers through food. A nostalgic trip through all that was edible in 1960s England, and what Nigel Slater is being continued by his stepmother Mrs. Potter (Bonham Carter), who comes into his life when his father (Stott) remarries after his mother (Victoria Hamilton) died of asthma.
