“Pain? That's just weakness leaving the body.”
Two befriended CIA agents competing for the same woman. A woman who looks like Reese Witherspoon (which makes you understand the battle a little better). Excellent material for a light-hearted and action-packed film and This Means War does little wrong in that area.
The film has a lot of momentum and humor, so that you are never bored. It's all incredibly predictable and the battle between FDR and Tuck goes on for a little too long. The subplot around a bad guy (Schweiger) must not have a name. Fortunately, Witherspoon, Hardy and Pine are charismatic actors who keep it fun for a long time. Not a bad movie and nice for a pleasant movie night.

Mme.
McG comes up with another action/comedy. A rather unusual director sometimes, because he tends to go to a TV level here. The jokes are kind of bland and the romance was only so-so. It wasn't the cast, though. Hardy and Pine are doing just fine.
The action was too mild, the jokes too bland. Witherspoon has a sweet face, but unlike other roles I've seen her in, she doesn't really convince here. It all went smoothly, and I know you shouldn't set your mind too high here.
Reasonably smooth action/comedy, which falls short in many areas, but manages to captivate for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
