dr. Kellog (Hopkins) is, yes, the inventor of the cornflakes of the same name. He is a man who appears to be obsessed with hygiene. In an obscure English village, he built a sanatorium for purebred health freaks. A married couple, Eleanor (Fonda) and William (Broderick) Lightbody, decide to enroll in a cure. William suffers from indigestion and is recommended by Kellog to take one of his therapies. It consists of enemas, electric baths, enemas, abstinence and more enemas. Meanwhile, he indulges in some flip-flops with Ida Muntz (Boyle).
