Once upon a time screenwriter Keith Michaels had it all. He had received a Golden Globe, a beautiful woman and a seemingly inexhaustible source of humor and charm. But that was 15 years ago. Now divorced, broke, approaching 50, and hasn't written for a major production in years. Fortunately, his agent has a job for him. A university in Binghamton is looking for a scriptwriting instructor. Because Keith is broke, he can't say no to this.

Picked this up and didn't really know what to expect. It wasn't a bad movie, but I didn't think it was a real comedy.
The cast didn't do badly, but it wasn't really surprising.

Well, you either like these types of films or you don't. So I do. Slim Droste effect of a washed-up script writer who starts teaching and derives his new motivation from that. A script in a movie. Perfect for Hugh Grant. Funny dialogues, although the story was a bit predictable, almost old-fashioned, and unfortunately we don't learn enough about Tomei. Despite reasonable reviews, the film did poorly at the box office.
