London, 1911. The regent of Carpathia stays with his son Nikki and his mother-in-law in London for the coronation ceremonies of Charles V. In search of some relaxation, the regent attends the theatrical performance 'The Coconut Girl'. He is deeply impressed by Elsie, the blond American who plays a supporting role in the production. For Elsie, a girlhood dream comes true when the regent invites her to dinner at the embassy. The actress suspects that hundreds of guests will be present. Much to her surprise, the table is only set for two. Elsie does not like a tête-à-tête with the regent and she decides to leave immediately. But you can't run away.
