What a bad comedy this is. I didn't expect this at all.
Steve Martin is generally a nice guy and I always find his movies entertaining. But how annoying is he playing here .. At a certain point I started to irritate him. Whether this is due to the character's acting performance, I don't really know. Actually think both. Because if, for example, Rowan Atkinson got this part, the movie would definitely have been funnier, or Leslie Nielsen. This Pink Panther can also be compared to The Naked Gun films and Johnny English, only the difference is that the last 2 films are 'well' funny.
The jokes are just predictable, not fun, not funny and childish. Laughed twice in total. I don't want to say much about the 'bad' story, because that was completely predictable. Especially with this kind of comedy. The supporting roles were surprising, because Beyonce had never expected in such a film. After saying this, I'm going to watch the second part anyway. Doesn't promise much according to the reviews, but I'm a little curious and hope that jokes catch on a bit more!

Wonderful movie! Laughed so hard, not normal. The humor is so dry that you can't keep it dry yourself. I had tears of laughter, what a lame sense of humour. And Steve, haha his character too, great! No one could have played a bigger klutz.
This is really one of those movies that you shouldn't take seriously at all, like Mr. bean. Just look and mind at 0.

Painful ..
In general, I really appreciate bland humor (Hot Shots, Naked Gun, Johnny English), but this movie is really painful when it comes to jokes. Unprecedented that, for example, a Jean Reno can be used for this.
There are a few scenes in it that are so horribly bad that it shouldn't have been shown. Actually, the fun jokes can be counted on one hand and I'm still mild.
Total monstrosity with only Reno as a positive outlier.
