Nice movie. The strength of the film is clearly the interplay between Diesel and the children he has to protect. It provides many funny situations that take the attention away from the very thin story. Compliments to the makers and the actors that this still works. Only in the end, when something of tension has to be created, does the film fall short. But The Pacifier is a likeable film with nice actors who have good chemistry.

After Kindergarten Cop also set this one up. Both films were wishes from my girlfriend, by the way. I wasn't already a fan of Kindergarten Cop, to which I only awarded one star, but this was a few degrees worse. First off, Diesel can't act at all and doesn't have the charisma of Schwarzenegger. Second, the plot is a far cry from the already pretty mediocre plot of Kindergarten Cop. As far as humor is concerned, it's even more bland and over the top. And after all, the dash of action also looks pretty woody. The final verdict is therefore obvious: 0.5*.
