"A love story for the romantically challenged."
Carla Tate spent much of her childhood in a special facility for the mentally handicapped. She has learned to take care of herself as much as possible and to stand on her own two feet. Now that she has completed her education, she hopes to conquer her own place in society. But Carla's wealthy family, and especially her mother, wants to arrange everything for her. They underestimate Carla's abilities and that leads to inevitable and hard confrontations, because Carla absolutely wants to keep her independence.
