"A thousand shows in one!"
Eddie Cantor's stardom makes himself impossible as master of ceremonies for an all-star charity performance. Coincidentally, the organizers come into contact with bus driver Joe, who, because of his strong resemblance to Cantor, can't get a job as an actor. This is the reason for a long show in which big names such as Spike Jones, Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland play themselves.
