Kostis, an introverted, unhappy and dozed forty, goes to work as a general practitioner on the Greek holiday island of Antiparos. A group of young tourists pulls him out of his shell with trips to the nude beach and exuberant alcoholic evenings in clubs, where the frivolous Anna in particular makes his head spin. Kostis goes along with it, but has trouble keeping up with the youth.

Initially a cheerful holiday film, which gradually takes on dramatic traits and ends in a minor key. Not the best, but not bad either. Shows some relationship with Summer Lovers (1982).

I was initially very amused with this video in which the holiday guests were mostly naked on the beach. An unhinged chick like Anna (Elli Triggou) would make me very horny myself. But... and this is also my experience; You shouldn't fall in love with these kind of ladies. The result is that you start claiming, stalking and so on. In short; You're going to act like a fool. The result is the opposite of what you would desire. This would gradually become apparent and my cheerful mood because of the frisky naked Anna disappeared like snow in the sun and I had to deal with the midlife crisis Kostis. All very recognizable to me but unfortunately the film was again somewhat killed because of the very implausible ending. That could have been done differently and also prevents me from giving this film with an interesting theme a high rating.

Not really a genre or location I specialize in. Genre Spring breakers or Mektoub, my love in which the dissolute youth thinks of nothing else but having fun, making love and this accompanied by a lot of alcohol or soft drugs at one or the other beach location. His adolescent behavior, his crush, his affection. It's starting to bother him. Not only with the youth and the beautiful Anna, but also in his doctor's practice, which he opens too late, closes too early and therefore neglects. Yet he is having the time of his life. An OK film to have seen, nothing more, nothing less. Solid without further ado.
