Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit plot
Delores (Whoopi Goldberg) has a good career in Las Vegas as a singer, but the Mother Superior enlists her help when a class of disinterested people at Saint Francis academy has to take music lessons. She accepts this and has to put on a habit again. When she hears that the school may have to close, she has a new mission because it is the only school in the underprivileged area.

To be honest, I liked this part a bit more than the first part. In the first part it was mainly about Sister Mary Clarence and I also found this character a bit exaggerated. But in part 2 I thought that was less and I thought it was more about the music and the choir. In addition, I also thought Lauren Hill put down a strong acting performance here, so all in all I don't think it's bad for part 2 at all. Pretty good even.

In terms of scenario a lot less original, but also the execution is just much less fun. Not that I found the first part so great, but it still had a certain freshness to it and there were still quite a few successful jokes in between.
This second part is simply a lot less fun, where the music is also a bit disappointing and for 90% it seems like a repetition of moves. It is nice to see a number of famous people in a very young role, especially Lauryn Hill and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
But not really a successful sequel.
