Ed and Alice are a couple getting married in two months. After Alice catches a friend having sex with a stranger, she begins to think about her own sexual history, leaving her feeling inadequate. She suggests to Ed that they both have sex with other people until their wedding. Ed eventually agrees but hopes Alice doesn't make her plans come true. This puts their relationship to the test.
