Top entertainment. I can try to ask myself whether I wouldn't rather see more high-quality humor in the cinema than what Stuber is now positing, but if I just laughed non-stop for an hour and a half, I noticed that the action scenes (also with Iko Uwais and Dave Bautista) were quite decent and the script wasn't nearly as vulgar as I expected, I can't help but see that Stuber fulfills his role as an action comedy with verve.
Kumail Nanjiani was completely unknown to me, but despite all the clumsiness of the character, Stu can honestly be called a sympathetic idiot. Bautista does his thing convincingly and after Guardians Of The Galaxy shows that he has perfect comedic timing. Natalie Morales and the much too small role of Karen Gillan also make for nice scenes, although the fact that martial arts greatness Iko Uwais in Hollywood is slowly breaking through in Hollywood remains the most fun for me. The man speaks English without sounding too hairy (as Jet Li or Jackie Chan unfortunately did) and has a cool appearance and skills. Just let him kick people up a notch.
In terms of humor I was happy that it didn't get too banal and the joke with a cop who can't see well was not used too much. No, scenes like the Ryan Gosling joke (I can't stand that actor either), the fight scene between Vic and Stu in Stu's shop, the moment the can of propane gas is thrown at chasing cars and the whole shootout at the vet. On the way back from the cinema I had The Grand Illusion of Styx on my headphones. Because just like Vic Manning, I secretly like (old) Styx. Made for a hilarious joke and fantastic action scene right away! As far as I'm concerned, an excellent piece of entertainment that definitely deserves a sequel.

Wonderful movie.
I am working in all the corona happenings myself and when you see this film it is a very pleasant sensation.
With this film I really forgot all the shit for 90 minutes and I laughed myself to death. I found the interaction between Kumail Nanjiani (a real comedic talent) and Dave Bautista very successful.
4* pretty high for a movie like this. But I really didn't think about anything for 90 minutes and laughed hard
