Nice family film, not really high-quality jokes and pranks, but well put together

A Robin Williams movie I hadn't seen before. Admittedly, not exactly the kind of movie I like. Just expect a nerve-racking film where everything goes wrong from the first minute to the last. Really gritted teeth watching lying

Williams has been doing this kind of work for a long time and although I consider his death a serious loss, I have to say that I have a hard time swallowing his hyperactive and fully comedic roles. Unfortunately, RV also does not manage to escape its somewhat too usual traits, but does take some advantage of other elements.

Like the adventure of happening. RV is never really brilliant when it comes to this genre, but the good thing is that the film is almost always in motion. Many different scenarios and a reasonable pace, only they follow each other a bit too slowly. It also never really feels like the family is faced with a serious challenge for just a single moment.

The acting is half done. From the children's point of view, the acting is absolutely good, but Hines was a lot more painful to watch. Williams as I said before can easily handle these kinds of characters, but it's not really my humor. I find it all just a bit too scripted and made without feeling sincere, and that never really works for me. So RV doesn't work for me either.

The moment that is also in the poster is the highlight of the film, but this is not really relevant. This film mainly focuses on the smaller moments, but that makes the bigger moments die. It is a smooth film, but it remains a lack that the film has few real moments on which you can look back. Easy snack, but nowhere high.
