Rendez-vous in het Paradijs plot

The widow Fien Appel, owner of a pastry shop, is the neighbor of cafe owner Camille, a widower. Camille would love to marry Fien, but she mainly thinks about the future of her daughters. Her servant Julleke, who loves the daughters very much, fears that Camille will not be able to persuade his mistress and advises Camille to look for another woman through a marriage broker.
