Teodor Teja Kraj was a professor at a renowned university, he moved in the intellectual circles of Belgrade and he was a passionate opponent of Milosevic's regime. However, Teja is currently the manager of a well-known publisher. His life goes on quietly until one day Luka Laban shows up at his office, who is an ex-agent of the former Serbian secret service.
