New Yorker Frank has regained his old Bohemian seat of the family - Kostka Castle - which he hasn't visited in 40 years. He prepares a glorious homecoming with his daughter Maria and his wife Vivien. But the new-fangled aristocrats have no knowledge of local customs and the ins-and-outs of the Czech Republic of the 1990s. Everything they know about castle life comes from their relatives and is ancient information.
