Jens August Sebastian Dusinius (Dirch Passer) is a photographer who spares nothing and no one in his work. Due to a sudden housing shortage, he enters into a marriage of convenience with Lene Kristiansen (Ghita Nørby), because married couples are given priority. However, when Lene goes out with other men, he becomes jealous and discovers that he really loves her.
