Omicidio all'Italiana plot
Acitrullo is a small village of 16 inhabitants in Abruzzo, Italy. Due to the isolated position of this mountain hamlet, people leave the village. In a last-ditch effort to avoid the total depopulation of his village, the mayor decides to stage a murder to attract the media and boost tourism. The plan is successful and gives new economic shine to the small hamlet.
