O Patío das Cantigas plot
In a patio, the residents of a building keep meeting each other: an honest businessman who gets angry easily, a drunkard and his young, obsessive son, an unpractical inventor, a Russian immigrant and a Brazilian singer and her hard-working mother. For example, the son fools the drunk father with a street lamp, the inventor thinks he is listening to his own radio while it is the Russian gramophone player and everyone wants to tell the mother the good news that her daughter, the singer, from Brazil is will come - each in his own way.
