Nate and Margaret plot
"When your best friend is your only friend."
Nate is 19 years old, studying at film school and determined to make it in the film world. His neighbor, Margaret, is 52 years old, eccentric and an avid collector of all kinds of coffee cups. Although they don't seem to have many similarities, they find that they have a lot in common and are inseparable. One day, Darla, a friend of Nate's, draws his attention to the handsome James. Now with more free time, Margaret decides to become a stand-up comedian. But the more Nate and Margaret spend their time apart, the more they realize how important they are to each other.
