"Gays on strike!"
Shel Grandy is gay and professionally organizes all kinds of parties. His brother Ben asks him to organize his wedding to Maggie Welling. Maggie's father is governor and also Ben's employer. When the latter openly speaks out against gay marriage, Shel stops the organization of the marriage in protest. The marriage seems to have come to an end when Maggie sided with Shel. However, Shel's action is getting widespread media coverage; especially if other gays decide to stop working in protest.
