Nacho Libre plot

"He's nacho average hero."

Ignacio is a Mexican priest who has a simple cooking job in a small orphanage. In fact, he would much rather wrestle than cook. And when he secretly participates in a wrestling match (as the masked Nacho) it turns out that he even gets money, even if he loses. And that money can be spent on healthy food for the orphans, instead of the daily brownie in the orphanage. One drawback, however, is that the new and stunning Sister Encarnación makes it all too clear what the church thinks about wrestling...

Couple of successful jokes, but otherwise a very forgettable video

uh.

Typically another Jack Black film, although this is a rather far-reaching role even for him. By the way, the film is no less entertaining for that, but just a bit bland and yes, quite over the top and of course Jack Black is exaggerating.

The humor doesn't really keep the film on its feet either, but I liked the scenes in the ring itself. Especially the scene with several wrestlers against each other, and that's also what the film brings out a bit for me.

Not really brilliant, sometimes quite annoying. Fortunately, with the excellent locations and entertaining wrestling scenes, the film is still reasonably successful here and there. You can also skip it for a good movie.

The kind of comedy that doesn't really pretend to be more than a snack. Within that framework, I do feel that they have taken everything out of it. The production seems fairly low budget but still has a nice, consistent visual style. The story keeps momentum and there are just enough successful jokes.
